Offering a flexible, grounded therapeutic space, shaped around what you need.

I offer counselling for young people aged 11–18 in Epsom, Surrey, as well as online sessions for those who prefer to meet from home. My aim is to create a space where young people feel safe, respected, and able to talk openly at their own pace. Sessions can be calm and reflective, creative and playful, or a mix of both.

I support young people experiencing challenges such as anxiety, stress, low mood, friendship or relationship difficulties, school pressure, identity questions, family changes, and neurodivergent‑related overwhelm. Whether your child needs short‑term support or longer‑term therapy, sessions are shaped around what helps them feel calmer, more confident, and more able to move forward

I don’t believe therapy is a one‑size‑fits‑all process, especially for young people. Some communicate best through talking, while others connect more easily through games, craft, drawing, music, movement, or time outdoors. For some, meeting my cat Luna helps break the ice and makes the space feel more relaxed and friendly.

Before starting therapy, we’ll have a thorough introductory call to explore what’s going on for your child and how I can support them. It’s a space for you to ask questions and for us to decide together whether counselling feels right.

I know it can feel daunting to send your child to therapy. To help ease the transition, I invite a parent or carer into the first session so we can gently settle your child in and build a shared understanding of how we’ll work.
Some young people come to counselling when they’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or unsure how to cope with school, friendships, or changes at home. Others might show shifts in mood, behaviour, or confidence. Sometimes, your child may even ask to see a counsellor themselves, which can be a clear sign they’re ready for support.
Your child’s safety and wellbeing are at the centre of everything I do. I hold an enhanced DBS check, and sessions take place in a private, dedicated therapy space where no other adults will ever enter the room during your child’s time with me. I also work with a no‑touch policy, which helps create clear, consistent boundaries that support emotional and physical safety.
Alongside this, I take time to build trust at your child’s pace, using talking, games, craft, music, or other creative approaches that help them feel grounded and comfortable. If you ever have questions or concerns, I’m always open to chatting more about this.
Every young person is different. Some benefit from short‑term support, while others prefer longer‑term therapy. We review progress together to make sure the work continues to feel helpful.
Yes...completely! Many parents feel a mix of worry, hope, and uncertainty when taking this step. You want to support your child, but it can still feel like a big decision. I’ve written a blog post that explores this in more depth: It’s Okay to Feel Unsure: Helping Your Child Begin Counselling. It offers gentle guidance for navigating those feelings and understanding what the first steps often look like
Session fees for under‑18s are £60 for a 50‑minute session.
