My name is Jemma Newman, and I offer counselling in Epsom, Surrey, as well as online sessions for clients across the UK. I provide a dedicated, safe, and comfortable space for face-to-face therapy, and a supportive environment online.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I follow ethical guidelines to provide a caring, non-judgemental environment. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches to tailor therapy to your needs, helping you feel understood and supported.
I work with adults, young people (11–18), and neurodivergent clients, supporting challenges such as anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I offer short-term or longer-term counselling, online or in-person, helping you feel calmer, more supported, and able to move forward in your life.

Luna is my three-year-old rescue tabby, and she has a very gentle, friendly nature. She enjoys meeting new people and some find her presence calming, so she can join us in sessions if requested. If she becomes a distraction, she’s just as content relaxing in another room

My practice is based in my home in Noble Park, Epsom in what was the old West Park Hospital. I am surrounded by greenery and Epsom Common and Horton Country Park are on my doorstep. Both are wonderful destinations to take some time to yourself before or after therapy and can be accessed in 5 minutes on foot, from my home.
