My name is Jemma Newman and my counselling practice is in Epsom, Surrey where I have a dedicated, comfortable and safe counselling space. I'm an integrative Counsellor and see clients from the across the UK, online, as well as those local to Epsom, face to face at my practice.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and as a BACP member I am committed to working ethically and to high professional standards. As an integrative Counsellor I can draw on theory from various therapeutic modalities, and this means I am better able to meet your needs as a client and offer you a calm, compassionate environment where you won't be judged. I work with adults and young people facing various difficulties in life, on either a short or long-term basis.
Luna is a 1 year old rescue tabby cat that lives with me. She has a very sweet nature and loves meeting new people. However, to avoid too many interruptions during counselling sessions she largely stays out of the counselling room. Some however find her presence soothing so she can be present, on request.
My practice is based in my home in Noble Park, Epsom in what was the old West Park Hospital. I am surrounded by greenery and Epsom Common and Horton Country Park are on my doorstep. Both are wonderful destinations to take some time to yourself before or after therapy and can be accessed in 5 minutes on foot, from my home.
